  • Biography

George Tychogiorgos received his Diploma in Computer and Communication Engineering from the University of Thessaly, Greece, in 2006. He received an MSc in Communications and Signal Processing in 2007 from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London. Since May 2009, he has been a Research Assistant at the Communications and Signal Processing Group at Imperial College London working for the IBM/ITA project. At the same time, he is pursuing his PhD in the area of Network Optimization in Wireless Networks under the supervision of Prof. Kin K. Leung.

Formerly, during summers 2010 and 2011 he worked at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center as a Summer Research Intern. In the period November 2007 - April 2009, he worked for British Telecom plc as a Network Designer within the Broadcast TV Solutions Team. In 2004, He participated in the translation of William Stalling's book, Network Security Essentials: Applications and Standards (3rd Edition) in Greek. In addition, during August - October 2002, he worked for Intracom Telecom S.A as a Software Engineer within the New Technologies Department.
