Xiang Lin (PhD. MSc., B.Eng. )

Xiang received his B.Eng. degree in Communications Engineering from Northeastern University China in 2004. He came to London, UK and obtained his the MSc. degree in Communications & Signal Processing from Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London in 2005. Recently, he obtained his PhD. degree in Signal Processing at Communications & Signal Processing Research Group, Imperial College London under the supervision of Dr. Patrick A. Naylor.

Xiang's research interests include adaptive filtering theory, microphone array audio signal processing for speech enhancement, and echo cancellation. His research was mainly focused on the blind identification of multichannel acoustic systems in the presence of common/ near-common zeros with applications to speech dereverberation. Xiang has also been working on adaptive sparse system identification for network echo cancellation in VoIP and multirate signal processing with oversampled filterbanks.

Xiang is a student member of IEEE and EURASIP. He is an associate member of IET.
