Talk Title: "A Defence S&T viewpoint on Information and Communications research challenges"

Abstract: The talk will cover three main topics:

a) The broad S&T landscape with a particular focus on the Socio-Technical Information System landscape;

b) An Information Systems challenge framework which results from taking a system view of the development landscape;

c) A (partial) set of core issues and challenges.

During the talk I will discuss how the Defence context differs from, or is analogous to, the wider world of Socio-Technical Information Systems.
