Can base stations talk to each other wirelessly?
This is Yun¡¯s doctorial topic |
From Jan 2006 to Sep 2008, Yun was working on the MEMBRANE project under the supervision of Prof. Kin Leung. The objective of MEMBRANE project is to design a highly efficient and adaptive wireless backhaul network. In MEMBRANE, Yun¡¯s task was to design efficient algorithms for distributed scheduling and power control for wireless mesh networks.

Currently Yun is working on the ITA project under the supervision of Prof. Kin Leung. The objective of ITA is to study theoretical foundation of designs and protocols for wireless ad-hoc and sensor networks. The project is funded by U.S. Army Research Laboratory and U.K. Ministry of Defence. Yun has been involved in the ITA project since Jan 2008 and her research topic here is optimal resource allocation via network utility maximization for wireless multi-cast networks. |
