Single-Channel Blind Speech Denoising and Dereverberation

Modulation-Domain Kalman Filtering

The flowchart diagram of the algorithm is: Flowchart Diagram.

The gray shaded blocks constitute the Kalman filter (KF) loop.

In the flowchart diagram, the γt and βt reverberation parameters are part of the KF state and they are tracked and estimated within the KF loop.

If the γt and βt reverberation parameters were external to the KF state, then they would be outside the KF loop: Flowchart Diagram External to the KF State.
