A new EU project which aims to give robots the ability to hear in real-world environments has just got underway. The team met at Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel to kick-off the project.

We are delighted to welcome Mathieu to the Speech and Audio Processing team as an Early Stage Researcher on the DREAMS project. Mathieu completed his MSc at Imperial College last year and is now beginning his PhD research on dereverberation.
DREAMS (Dereverberation and Reverberation of Audio, Music, and Speech) is an EU Marie Curie Initial Training Network involving partners in Belgium, Germany and Denmark, as well as the UK. In total 16 researchers are employed by the project in a mixture of ‘Early Stage Researcher’…
