Prof. Kin K. Leung

  

Prof. Kin K. Leung

 

KIN K. LEUNG received his BS degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1980, and his MS and PhD degrees in computer science from University of California, Los Angeles, in 1982 and 1985, respectively.

 

He joined AT&T Bell Labs in 1986 and worked at its successor companies, AT&T Labs and Bell Labs of Lucent Technologies, until 2004. Since then, he has been the Tanaka Chair Professor in Internet Technology at Imperial College London.

 

His research interests include network resource allocation, MAC protocol, TCP/IP protocol, mobility management, network architecture, real-time applications and teletraffic issues for wireless IP networks, sensor and ad-hoc networks. He is also interested in a wide variety of wireless technologies, including IEEE 802.11, 802.16, and 3G and future generation cellular networks.

Dr. Abdelmalik Bachir

 

ABDELMALIK BACHIR graduated from National Institute of Informatics, Algiers, Algeria, in 2001, received the DEA diploma in Informatics from the University of Marseille, France, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree from Grenoble Institute of Technology, France, in 2007.

 

From 2002 to 2004, he was a research assistant at the University of Avignon, France. From 2004 to 2007, he was a research engineer at France Telecom R&D, Meylan, France. From 2007 to 2008, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at Grenoble Institute of Technology, France. Currently he is research associate at Imperial College, London, UK

 

His research interests include: MAC, Routing, and Resource Management for Sensor Networks, and Ad Hoc Networking for Inter-Vehicle Communication.

Patryk Mazurkiewicz

 

PATRYK MAZURKIEWICZ received his MS degree from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland in 2006. He graduated from Applied Computer Science.

 

He is currently a PhD candidate of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London. He is a member of the Communications and Signal Processing Group.

 

His research interests include the protocols design, the localization of nodes in wireless networks focusing on cross-layer implementation.

Mario Orne Díaz Anadón

 

Mario Orne DÍAZ ANADÓN received his MS degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Oviedo, Spain in December 2006.

 

He is currently a PhD candidate of the Department of Electrical and
Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London. He is a member of the Communications and Signal Processing Group.

 

His research interests include MIMO systems and the tradeoffs between data mining and communications in Wireless sensor networks.
