I am a second year PhD student in the Communication and Signal Processing Group in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Imperial College London where I work under the supervision of Prof. Kin K. Leung since December 2016. I am involved on the International Technology Alliance in Distributed Analytics and Information Sciences project which is sponsored by the U.K. Ministry of Defence and U.S. Army Research Lab and led by IBM Research. My main focus is to investigate machine learning techniques for the design of large-scale communication and computing infrastructure. My research interests cover various aspects of future communication networks, mobile cloud computing, distributed machine learning, distributed optimisation algorithms. During summer of 2017, I interned at the Distributed Artifical Intelligence group at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in New York where I collaborate with Shiqiang Wang.
Before starting my PhD, I obtained my Master of Science (MSc) degree in Communication and Signal Processing from Imperial College London in September 2016. I did my master thesis in the Imperial Computer Vision and Learning Lab where I focus on 6 Degree of Freedom pose etimation of objects. I also obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Financial Engineering from Imperial College Business School in September 2015. Prior to joining Imperial College London, I completed a B.Sc.degree in Communication Systems at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) .
